Collection Collector gives you medallions which are also important.

In an upcoming update there will also be Adventure mode which are more traditional quests that you complete upon accepting it. Stuff like, "Get champion on ___ game", "Find three different apple items", "Get 200 gold on a single game play", "Win the lottery", "Sell an avatar", "Buy 10 items from the Marketplace", etc. etc.

Depending on the request, the rewards will be quite high including a quest point.
